The founder of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin said that Russian forces are located near Artemivsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut), 1.2 kilometers from the administrative center. He disclosed such data in a video recording in the Telegram channel of his press service.
“Near the five-story building where the smoke comes from is the building of the city administration, the administrative center of the city. It is one kilometer and two hundred meters away,” Prigogine said.
Earlier, the founder of the PMC reported that the Ukrainian army was preparing a counteroffensive in the Artemivsk region. Commenting on the publications about a possible large-scale counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in this direction, he said that the Ukrainian troops are really working on the appropriate maneuvers.
