The occupiers are setting up additional checkpoints in Melitopol and on the coast of Azov, – the mayor

The occupiers are strengthening control over the captured territories of the Zaporizhzhia region. Yesterday they set up pedestrian checkpoints at the entrance to the park in Melitopol.

The Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said this on the air of the national news telethon.

“This means that the phone can be checked by any person. In addition, they can be searched with metal detectors,” he said.

Also, according to Fedorov, the Russian military has established additional posts on the coast of the Sea of Azov – in Kyrylivka and Biryuch Island. He assumed that it was because the occupiers had set up training grounds there.
