The first Leopard 1 tanks from the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany will arrive in Ukraine in early May.

Such terms were called by the Acting Minister of Defense of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen.

“I went there and saw that the work on preparing the Leopard 1 tanks for Ukraine is progressing, and we will be able to send them as quickly as possible,” Poulsen said after visiting the German FFG company, where these tanks are being repaired for subsequent transfer to the Armed Forces.

It is assumed that 80 tanks will be transferred to Ukraine within the framework of this program. Spare parts and ammunition will also be supplied.
