Russian air defense systems (ADS) shot down two missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Bryansk region . The governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“Today, the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation shot down two missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the fall of one of the rockets, a sawmill in the village of Bytosh was completely destroyed ,” Bogomaz said. The governor of the Bryansk region specified that there were no victims. Emergency services are on the scene, he added.
Earlier , the Russian Defense Ministry reported that over the past day, Russian air defense systems destroyed ten Ukrainian drones. As specified in the department, the Ukrainian military lost their unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) near the settlements of Petrivske, Zaitsevo, Soledar and Oryol of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
On July 9, the air defense system worked in the Rostov region , several buildings were damaged. The Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev confirmed the work of air defense in the sky over the region. According to him, the downed object was a missile launched from Ukraine.
On the same day , it was reported in Crimea that a cruise missile had been shot down in the Kerch region . On July 8, the air defense system went off in the Voronezh region . Governor Alexander Gusev said that the UAV was destroyed on approach to the regional center.
