A delegation from Russia led by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will visit North Korea, the Defense Ministry said .”At the invitation of the Ministry of Defense of the DPRK, the Russian delegation will visit the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the patriotic liberation war of 1950-1953,” the ministry said.
The visit is scheduled for July 25-27.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the trip will help strengthen military ties between Moscow and Pyongyang and will become an important stage in the development of cooperation between the two countries.
As reported by the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China , a Chinese delegation will visit North Korea on July 26 to participate in commemorative events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the end of hostilities in the Korean War.
